Aimee has called Albuquerque home for most of her life, but started working with Kids Cook! this school year. She is an educator at two of our Kids Cook! schools.

Before working at Kids Cook! what was the most interesting job you’ve had?

Before Kids Cook! my most interesting job was owning my own food truck!

What have you gained from working at Kids Cook! ?

I’ve gained a better sense of community and a love for teaching.

What three words would you use to describe working at Kids Cook!?

Rewarding, educational and fun!

Do you have a favorite quote or motivational phrase?

If you could be anyone for a day, who would you choose and why?

Chef Pierre White, he is the only Chef who has made Gordon Ramsay cry. I’d like to experience that moment!

How would you describe yourself as a 10-year-old?

10-year-old me always fought to have more out of life. She never settled.

What three things would you want if you were alone on an island?

My chef knife, salt and fire.

Where is the best place you've traveled to and why?

I really enjoyed San Francisco, the food atmosphere and beautiful beaches and history.

What is the most important thing you've learned in the last five years?

Don’t take one moment for granted, you never know how many you’ve got.
