Educator Spotlight: Hosanna
Hosanna is an Albuquerque native and she started working with Kids Cook! this school year. She works as an educator at one of our Kids Cook! schools.

Before working at Kids Cook! what was the most interesting job you’ve had?
Before Kids Cook! my most interesting job was owning my own bakery.
What have you gained from working at Kids Cook! ?
I’ve gained new recipes, more knowledge about nutrition, and a deep appreciation for the hard work of teachers!
What three words would you use to describe working at Kids Cook!?
Fun, rewarding, yummy!
Do you have a favorite quote or motivational phrase?
Be the change that you want to see in the world.
If you could be anyone for a day, who would you choose and why?
I'd be my 2-year-old son. I can have a wonderful night’s sleep, be catered to and play all day and take a great nap!
How would you describe yourself as a 10-year-old?
I loved sports, music and spending time with my family, especially my younger sister.
What three things would you want if you were alone on an island?
Food, water, and shelter.
Where is the best place you've traveled to and why?
Kenya. I made eternal friendships there.
What is the most important thing you've learned in the last five years?
To take one day at a time.
Is there anything else you want to share?
The kids have made this job so much more than I could have ever asked for. Their curiosity, intelligence, creativity, smiles and hugs have been the best!
