Infused Water

Tools Needed:

  • Chef’s knife

  • Cutting board

  • Pitcher or water bottle with infusion basket

Ingredients

  • Any combination of cut up fruits and herbs

    Suggested:

  • strawberries

  • cucumber

  • oranges

  • lemon

  • mint

  • lime

  • blackberries

  • basil


Steps:

  1. Wash herbs and fruit. Cut up fruit into 1-inch pieces. Tear herbs into pieces.

    2. If using a pitcher, muddle the fruit and herbs with a long spoon and then add water. If using a bottle with infusion basket, place fruit and herbs in basket and then add water.

    3. Water will have the most flavor if the fruit and herbs are sitting in it for at least 1 hour. It can also be kept in the refrigerator overnight.
